Learning CommunitiesORBIT Learning Communities or Communities of Practice are companies, organizations and professionals informally and formally bound and driven to one another through exposure to common economic and business issues, the need and desire to pursue best practice solutions, and thus embracing vast amounts of knowledge.

The UCF Gobal Project Management (PM) Series enables you to acquire the skills you need to keep projects on task, on time, and on budget. The highly interactive program builds from theories of project management to real-world practices that are applicable to all industries and fields.

Project Management is a systematic approach to planning, organizing, controlling, and leading a project to successful completion. The tools and techniques of project management can easily be applied to a wide range of projects, from a large, complex engineering or information technology project to the introduction of a new product or program.

Project Management and using improved ways to deliver projects have become the foundation for success in the public and private sectors.   Successful project management requires achieving the scope (e.g., intended result), cost and schedule. In addition, the increasing complexity of work and demands for "more with less" place special demands on the project manager.

The UCF Global PM Series provides the Project Management Core Curriculum and in-depth, specialized courses to further develop your project management skills. The advanced courses focus on key trends in managing projects and demands on the project managers. You will learn how to prepare project schedules, develop project measures and advanced approaches to project control; and how to develop, lead and motivate project teams. If dealing with risk and complexity are part of your work environment, you will learn both standard and advanced techniques to aid you.

Successful project management and quality improvements cannot be achieved with tools and methods alone. Human capital and dynamics play a significant role. The application of leadership, judgment and teamwork skills are required. This theme is interwoven throughout the training experience in The UCF Global PM Series.

Besides the Customized Corporate Training Series, the five - course, elective UCF Global PM Series includes:

All classes in The UCF Global PM Certificate Series are conducted by a Project Management Institute (PMI) Registered Education Provider.  PMI is the  leading organization certifying and representing 60,000 project management professionals worldwide. PDU (14 PDU’s per course) and CEU credits are provided.

This core program is closely tied to key elements of PMBOK – the Project
Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge. Our instructional
group is also a Registered Education Provider with PMI.
